What is a Glitter Gel?

LE Glitter Gels are a hard gel formulation that keeps glitter suspended so it is always ready to apply, with no mixing required! This saves you time on services and helps avoid a mess working with loose glitter!

Do Glitter Gels add strength to the nail?

No—LE Glitter Gels are for decoration only. They do not add strength and should always be applied over a properly structured enhancement (such as Lexy Line hard gel, JimmyGel, or acrylic).

Do keep in mind that Glitter Gels will add some thickness to the nail, so consider this when creating your structure.

Pro Tip: If you're applying a chunky glitter and want to encapsulate the nail, you can use a thin layer of Skinny JimmyGel to encapsulate the look and achieve a flawlessly smooth nail!

How do I remove Glitter Gel?

LE Glitter Gels are a hard gel and need to be filed off for removal.

Can Glitter Gels be used for pedicures?

Absolutely! We think no pedicure is complete without a little sparkle!

Just apply your desired LE Glitter Gel over a proper base such as Powerbond, JimmyGel, Lexy Line or acrylic.

Any application tips?

Absolutely! Glitter Gels are perfect for adding a touch of sparkle, full glam glitter, or depth and dimension to nail art with encapsulation- the opportunities are endless!

For full coverage, fine glitters, apply as you would any other color gel.

For chunky glitters, you can apply a layer of ButterCream color gel underneath and then float a bead of the Glitter Gel down the nail as you would apply a builder gel. Working it down the nail this way allows it to self level and you can then use a detail brush or dotting tool to move glitter pieces around as desired. Check it out here!
